Dr. Bartosz A. Maska, DDS, MS
Dr. Maska is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery. He began his undergraduate studies at the University of Detroit Mercy. He went on to receive his dental degree, master’s degree, and specialty training in Periodontics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. His research during residency focused on collecting and characterizing stem cells from various intra-oral sites in the search for future therapeutic uses.
He is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Russell W. Bunting Periodontics Award, the Benson Duff Scholarship, and the Grand Prize in the Michigan Periodontics Association Clinical Case Competition. He has also published articles on dental implants and soft tissue grafting in high impact journals. Dr. Maska holds membership in local, national, and international dental organizations. He stays involved in continuing education on a national level by giving and attending courses.
Dr. Maska strives to develop long lasting and meaningful relationships with his patients and always provide the highest quality of care. His experience and training at the top dental school in the United States allows him to enhance and incorporate the newest developments in esthetic periodontal procedures, advanced bone and soft tissue grafting, titanium and ceramic dental implants to achieve optimal results.
On a personal level, Bart was born in Poland and grew up in Michigan. He now resides in the Northern Chicago suburbs with his wife, an internal medicine physician, and son. In his free time, he is an avid DIYer and active volunteer at community dental clinics. Outside of Periodontics, he plays soccer and supports his favorite soccer teams.
